Terms and Conditions of the Terra Lab Online Store

1. Scope and Object

These General Terms and Conditions govern the terms and conditions of the Terra Lab Online Store, owned by Artur Jorge da Silva Inácio , with registered office at Beco Miguel Torga, 1, Bloco C, 2º Esq, Albufeira , registered as ENI with NIF 219450161 , hereinafter referred to as "Terra Lab" .

The store is accessible through the address www.terralab.pt, allowing the user to consult information about products and services, as well as place orders electronically, under the conditions described herein.

The purchase of products is restricted to users aged 18 or older , unless authorized by their legal representatives. Electronic transactions are fully legally valid.


2. Product and Content Information

Terra Lab is committed to providing accurate and up-to-date information about its products. Images are representative of the actual product, although, in the case of live plants , variations may occur due to their unique nature.

Despite our best efforts, typographical errors or product unavailability may occur due to unforeseen factors. If an order cannot be fulfilled, the user will be notified by email and may choose between a refund or a replacement item.

Terra Lab reserves the right to change prices, specifications, campaigns, and services without prior notice.


3. Application Process

The products are available for Portugal and other countries in the European Union . To place an order, the user must:

  • Select the desired products and add them to your shopping cart ;
  • Fill in the required information , choose your payment method , and confirm your order.
  • Receive a confirmation email with your order details.

By submitting the request, the user accepts the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy .

3.1. No Order Processing

Terra Lab may refuse requests in the following cases:

  • Payment confirmation failed;
  • Errors in billing or pricing information;
  • Product unavailable ;
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address.

In these situations, the user will be informed and the amount paid will be refunded.


4. Product Availability

Order fulfillment is subject to stock availability . In case of stock shortage, the user will be notified and may choose to maintain the order or cancel it with a refund .


5. Prices and Payment

The prices shown already include VAT at the current legal rate. The delivery fee is added to the final price.

Prices are subject to change without notice, but the price shown at the time of purchase will apply, unless there is an obvious error.

  • Credit Card (VISA/Mastercard)
  • Multibanco Reference ;
  • MB Way .

Transactions are processed by certified entities, ensuring data security.


6. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are shipped after payment confirmation and are delivered by DPD . We only ship to countries within the European Union (EU).

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information , including name, address, postal code, and telephone number.

Shipping costs to Portugal and other EU countries :

  • Shipping costs start at R$3 and vary depending on the destination country and the weight of the products. The shipping cost will be calculated during the checkout process and will be visible to the customer.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Portugal: up to 5 business days;
  • Other countries in the EU: up to 7 working days.

7. Cancellations, Exchanges and Returns

The user can cancel the order before it is shipped. If the order has already been shipped, the return policy applies.

7.1. Returns or exchanges due to withdrawal

The customer has 14 days to return or exchange a product provided that:

  • It has not been used ;
  • Keep it in the original packaging ;
  • Include the invoice .

Exception: Live plants are not eligible for exchange or return, except in cases of defects or damage during transport , as per Decree-Law No. 24/2014, article 17, paragraph d .

The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving and verifying the items.

If you wish to exchange an item, you must return it via registered mail and then make a new purchase.
Shipping costs related to exchanges or returns will be the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of error on the part of Terra Lab.

No exchanges or returns are accepted for items purchased during sales, promotions, or in the outlet section.


8. Campaigns and Promotions

The terms and conditions of campaigns and discounts will always be detailed on the corresponding page.


9. Workshops
Terra Lab occasionally organizes workshops that are available for booking and purchase through the website terralab.pt, and are sold as a service.
All specific information regarding each workshop — including, but not limited to, date, time, price, location, participation conditions, and any additional requirements — is described on the respective workshop page on the website.
Participation in the workshops is permitted for those aged 14 and over, provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
The registration fee for the workshop is non-refundable.
Each workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants to take place. If this minimum number is not reached, the workshop may be cancelled by Terra Lab, and the client will be refunded the full amount paid for registration.
All conditions applicable to each workshop are also indicated on the respective information page on the website.

11. Processing of Personal Data

The user authorizes the processing of personal data provided in the order, under the terms set forth in Terra Lab's Privacy Policy. The data is used for order processing and communication with the customer.

12. Changes

Terra Lab may, at any time and without prior notice, modify these conditions or, if applicable, introduce new conditions by publishing them on the website. The user should consult the terms and conditions each time they access the website. Validation of an order after any change will signify acceptance of the new conditions.

14. Applicable Legislation

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law .

In case of disputes related to our services, the client may resort to the Albufeira Judicial Court or, in accordance with Law No. 144/2015 of September 8, 2015, to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity, which can be contacted in case of conflict when purchasing a product or service referenced on this website. It should be noted that, when necessary, this solution, compared to legal action, is usually faster, less formal, and less expensive.
Therefore, if you are dissatisfied and wish to present your situation, you can do so by contacting CIMAAL - Algarve Consumer Arbitration Centre (www.consumoalgarve.pt), which is the competent entity for the alternative resolution of consumer disputes, under current legislation.
