Tillandsia Usneoides Green - Air Plant
Description
Tillandsia usneoides, known as Spanish moss, is a rootless epiphytic plant that absorbs water and nutrients directly from the air and moisture. With thin, grayish, drooping leaves, it grows on tree branches and spreads naturally with the help of wind and birds.
It inhabits humid tropical regions and, under ideal conditions, can reach 1 to 2 meters in length. Its range extends from the southeastern United States to Argentina.
